Qigong is an ancient practice developed in China, and is considered to
be a “mind-body” practice which incorporates movement, posture,
breathing, visualization, relaxation and self-massage. While there are
different forms of qigong, the main intention of qigong is to improve
health by increasing “qi” (or life-force) through consistent application of
various exercises (“gong” means cultivation or practice).
