Performance training is functional training to prepare for high level athletic competition. Our philosophy is that athletes need a balanced program with equal parts strength and power, agility and speed, flexibility, recovery, nutrition and energy systems as well as a properly periodized plan. Participants are aged 15 years and up and include Olympic Alpine Skiers, World Cup Snowboarders, National Women’s Hockey Players, OHL level Hockey Players, Elite Runners and Swimmers and many more. Each session is monitored by elite coaches and trainers. Sarah Applegarth designs and monitors the programs to ensure athletes are training in a motivating, challenging and diverse environment.

Sports Specialization at an early age limits kids from exposure to new activities with different learning scenarios acquiring new skills.

Four mornings/week our drop off/pick up spot will be at Osler Bluff, where we will have access to tennis, volleyball courts, pool, hiking trails, workout spot and more. And one day/week we will meet in Collingwood and use the Collingwood trail system by bike so campers discover all Collingwood has to offer. A wide variety of activities taught by experts in their field will be offered throughout the week. (You must have a functioning bike and be a proficient rider to attend camp.). One of the things that makes our camp so unique is that our coaches are professional coaches or teachers versus just young students so campers learn many new skills throughout the week.

Fit for Slopes is a 9 week program that will look to get you ready for the first turns of the season. Designed by former provincial ski team athlete and current ACA-CSC trained coach, Ben Hanson, each session will focus on improving movement patterning, balance, strength, power, and coordination in a fun and engaging environment. Additionally, the program will include a functional movement screening and accompanying at home injury prevention program. So whether you are an avid adult house league racer or someone looking to have more confidence coming onto a steep pitch, Fit for Slopes will look to have you ready to make the most of this season.

Hi Nooner Folks!
The "Photography Nooner" on Tuesday Jan 21st is going to be a 'group coaching' class from 12-1pm to allow us to update our promotional photos with the professional photographer who will be in the building that day. We will have all our strength and conditioning coaches teach a portion of this class. The idea will not be to focus on one client in particular, but rather show all coaches working with a group.
You will still get a great workout in but there will be some transitions as we switch over from coach to coach for certain portions of the class. There will be some videos taken as well for future promotional use.
